OpenAI just made powerful AI free (and even cheaper for builders)

The news: OpenAI released GPT-5.4 Mini and GPT-5.4 Nano today, calling them their "most capable small models yet." Mini runs more than 2x faster than its predecessor and is now available to free ChatGPT users. Nano is the cheapest option in the lineup, built for classification, data extraction, and handling the simpler tasks inside larger agent workflows.
