Claude Code can now open your apps and test what it builds

The news: Anthropic launched computer use in Claude Code as a research preview for Pro and Max subscribers. Claude can now open your apps, click through your UI, navigate a browser, and run tests right from the CLI. It uses a permission-first approach (requesting access before touching any new application) and is currently available on Mac.

How it affects automation: If you build with Claude Code, this closes the loop between writing code and verifying it works. Claude can build the thing and then click through it to confirm it actually does what you asked, no separate testing step required.
